DAY BY DAY ITINERARY:
s Day 01 Arrive in Beijing
Welcome to the capital of China. Your driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to HOTEL with downtown location. Tonight you will enjoy very splendid Chinese Acrobatic Show. We will arrange hotel pick up and drop off at night.Pick up time:6:00pm -6:20pm Show time:7:15pm - 8:40pm
sDay 02 Beijing (B.L)
Pick-up from your hotel between 7:30am and 8:00am, and then drive to Ming Tombs (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving). The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. You will visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour. The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45. Before having lunch (11:30 am), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.Having traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.You will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels. (Lunch)
sDay 03 Beijing (B.L)
. Pick up at your hotel between 7:30am and 8:00am, This tour starts at Tian'anmen Square with its plentitude of monuments testifying to the communist, and more specifically, Mao's influence on China's modern history. From there you will proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. After having a short rest, we'll visit the Temple of Heaven -- the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour.
. After Western and Chinese buffet lunch ( 40minutes ) in Bangfuchun Restaurant, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market not missed.
. Driving (30minutes) to Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. The visit takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
. Transferred back to your hotels.
sDay 04 Beijing/Xian by Train (B.L)
Pick up at your hotel between 7:30am and 8:00am, and then driving to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda Zoo visit takes about 40 minutes. Then take you to the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. The Lama Temple tour finishes at about 11:00. Before having lunch (12:00), you will have 45 minutes to visit the Chinese traditional handicraft silk carpet factory.
You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then you will be arranged to visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts for 2 hours. You will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, primary school, many famous old buildings, like the bell tower, where you can explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing.
We will arrange 45 minutes to take pictures at the Olympic Stadium: Bird's nest and water cube. If you are interested in the inner structure of the stadiums, the tour guide will assist you in buying the tickets, and you could enter in the stadiums for a visit yourself.
On the way, we also arrange the short visit to a China Tea House to enjoy tea ceremony.
Transfer you to Beijing West Train Station and you will take the overnight train to Xian.Have a 13 hours Train Trip.(train NO: T75 or similar.)
sDay 05 Xian (B.L.D)
On arrival in the morning, You will be met at Xian Train Station.Welcome to Xian !
After 1 hour's drive, you will arrive our first site-- Banpo Neolithic Village , the first museum showing the prehistorical relics in China. it presents the matriarchal society of Banpo (Neolithic people) 6,000 years ago. Then visit one of the eight world wonders The Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses (about 2hours' visit) and have lunch in local foreign restaurant(1hour). You won't miss to visit Qin Tombs , the tomb for the first emperor in Chinese history, Qinshihuang. He began to build his own cemetery when he was just 13years old and the construction took 38 years. After lunch, you will have a chance to visit the Terra-Cotta Warriors Copy Factory. Drop you off at your hotel at about 17:00.
Tonight you will enjoy Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show, including night transportation(hotel pick up and drop off). Pick up time:6:30pm - 7:00pm Show time: 8:10pm - 9:00pm.
sDay 06 Xian (B.L)
You will start the tour today with Shaanxi History Museum ( about 1 hours visit), Big Wild Goose Pagoda ( about 1 hours visit). it has 7 storeys with a height of 64.5meters. it was originally used to store Buddhism Books brought in by Xuanzang from India in Tang Dynasty(618-907A.D). the next site for you is Ancient City Wall,It is rectangle and was built based on the imperial city wall of Tang Dynasty more than 600years ago. It is the best -preserved ancient city wall in existence in china(1hour's visit). Go to lunch in local foreign restaurant( 1hour). Then you will tour Bell Tower and Drum Tower----the landmarks of Xian(1 hour's visit). On the way, one specialty shop in Xian is arranged(about 30minutes). Drop you off at your hotel at about 16:00. (Lunch)
sDay 07 Xian/Homeland (B.)
Transfer you to Xianyang airport from your hotel and fly to your next destination ! (Lunch)
